PS

This just end: Eggbert (WBS Mascot) is at the top of Addie Mae, the schools tower that has no apparent purpose. Yes, someone climbed Addie Mae and put the head of Eggbert at the top. We have no suspects yet, but I know someone who knows something...I'll try interogating to find the culprit.

Well, until we meet again, Adieu.

IDOP

Last night was Inernational Dorm of Pancakes. We had all kinds of pancakes in the girls down and coffee, milk, and OJ. It was delicious! Yum! That is all.

Well, until we meet again, Adieu.

Wednesday's Spring Fling

Yesterday Dan and I had to go to the Powhatan (Pocahontas' father) Courthouse for a field trip for our Arkansas History class. It was interesting in some spots, but mostly we were ready to leave as soon as we got there. Dan and I both like history, but our teacher is a total goober. He misspells things wrong on every PowerPoint slide during his notes and pronounces everything wrong as well. It's a Black River class, so I guess we can't have the highest hopes, but oh well.

So after we got back from the field trip Spring Fling was all about blow-ups! We had blow-up jousting, blow-up twister (which everyone ended up doing flips and bouncing on instead of twister,) blow-up stick to the wall thing (you got in a Velcro suit and stuck to the wall) and blow up obstacle course. We have such a wonderful time here at Williams.

We've also been collecting money this month for the Children's Shelter coming to Walnut Ridge. We have raised almost $1200 and counting. I will give you a full amount once we finish collecting all of the money, which is today.

OK, so I don't think I've blogged about this, but there has been a creepy man in a blue Chevy Colorado truck skulking around campus. He was spotted a couple of weeks ago by a friend of mine and he even asked her to get into the truck. Dan and I saw him last week going by the dorms really slowly, and then last night my best friend Jordan saw him and her and my friend Brian followed him to Pocahontas. We have signs posted in the girls dorm and we are all advised to use the buddy system. Dan will not let me go out alone and walks me everywhere-such a good boyfriend.

Well, until we meet again, Adieu.

Yesterday's Spring Fling

At 4:00 yesterday we had a huge water slide, water balloons, and tug-o-war. The tug-o-wars middle consisted of whipped topping, peaches, marshmallows, and sprinkles, so if your team lost then you would be piled into the delicious toppings. Which were delicious by the way because I tasted them. Then at 6:00 there was an eating contest. The first challenge was hot dogs that I participated in. I didn't eat many because I had just eaten supper. I cheated, however, by throwing the hot dogs behind me. I still didn't win, and wasn't trying to, it was just funny. So then it was Twinkie time. Yeah, 2 people threw up. It was awesome. Nasty. But awesome.

A praise: the Supreme Court ruled yesterday that partial birth abortion is now illegal in every state in the United States. Thank goodness!

We need to remember to continue praying for Virginia Tech. The campus minister had me make a sign yesterday that said, "You are in our thoughts and prayers," and the whole school was able to sign it. We are going to send it to them at the end of the week.

Well, until we meet again, Adieu.

PS-this week is MEGA stressful to me, so please pray for me and my sanity.

PPS-Chapel today was AMAZING! (yes, Steve and Ruth, amazing) A professor on campus (Dr. Norvell-religion) has been having a dream for several years and has been more detailed in the last couple of weeks. So he shared it with us. He was first standing in an arena and then it started changing to the gym at WBC. He was preaching to us (WBC students.) He said that he is not a preacher, but in his dream he was preaching. So today he preached to us exactly what he has been preaching in his dream. He "preached" to us with tears rolling down his face. He simply said, "Repent." But he said it about 100 times. It was so powerful, people, including me began kneeling at the bottom of the bleachers praying and weeping. One simple word set out campus on fire. AMEN! It was incredible. Thank you Jesus.

Spring Fling Week

This week is Spring Fling Week at WBC. Each day I will try to keep you updated on yesterday's events. Yesterday was the spring play. Dan and I enjoyed seeing our friends in The Importance in being Ernest. It was comical and overall, well acted out. Then we had a drive-in movie and watch Pirates of the Caribbean. There was a screen set up by the girls softball field and we drove our cars and sat on the tailgate. I later found a couch to curl up on and got warm under my sleeping bag. It was a good night. I'm looking forward to today's events, but I will tell you about those tomorrow.

Well, until we meet again, Adieu.

Last Night

Two things happened tonight and the police were involved in both. Here are the stories:

1. The first thing that happened was that I locked my keys in my car. The good thing is that I was already at school. So I called the local cop (our campus officer) and him and his crew got my car unlocked. Now, this is the second time this year that I have already locked my keys in my car, and I have done it before. I run out of gas and lock my keys in my car more than anyone I know. I guess it keeps things interesting. Inconvenient. But interesting.

2. Now the second things that happened was that as I was going into my hall for the night, there was a note on the door. The note stated "Caution ladies!!! There has been a suspicious vehicle going around campus. It is a blue s10 pickup and has handicapped plates. If he asks you to come to his vehicle call officer Jerry (our fantastic campus cop) or Chuck Pingle (the men's dorm director.)" So needless to say I was a little freaked out. Daniel always walks me to my dorm at night, but I told him we should be extra careful. Now today, since I get the low down on everything working in Student Affairs, I got the whole story. Two of my friends (also on my intramural softball team) were walking to the dorms last night, when this creepo asked them to get into the vehicle. I feel safe on this campus, but it still has be a little leery.

Now, these things have nothing to do with cops, but they need your prayers:

1. My best friend Erin Putnam, who moved back to Colorado last semester, has a grandma who is doing very bad. She had bleeding in her brain, they think that might be from a broken blood vessel. The bleeding isn't stopping, and she is getting worse. She is a Christian and is excited about meeting the Lord, but the family still needs prayers. Erin told me a neat story about her Gigi (that's what she calls her.) Every Easter her Gigi is the first to say "He is risen!" and whoever hears her says, "He is risen indeed." Well this Easter she was in the hospital, so Erin's sister was the first to say "He is risen!" since her Gigi couldn't. Well her Gigi said "He is risen indeed," but Erin's sister didn't hear her, so she said "Gigi, He is risen indeed!" And Gigi said "That's what I said!" I thought it was so funny that her Gigi was getting sassy in the hospital bed while she was in so much pain.

2. My cousin Amanda is about 3 weeks pregnant. On Easter we made her a cake of congratulations and the baby already had grandma and grandpa bibs and a baby blanket. Amanda and her husband have been trying for awhile and want a baby desperately. Well she found out yesterday that she was pretty sure she had lost the baby. She had been bleeding. The doctors say it was from a hormonal imbalance. It is heartbreaking because there are so many people in this world that bring children into this world who don't even want kids, or who have abortions, but when someone really wants one, she can't. At least the baby is in Heaven. But keep Amanda and her husband and the rest of the family in your prayers, because we were all excited and loved the baby already.

Speaking of Easter, I had a wonderful Easter. We went to my grandmas like we do every year, but one thing that we did different is that we didn't cook the normal Easter meal. We ordered KFC. It was much easier and just as filling. After we ate, my cousin Brittany (19) and I hid Easter eggs for out little cousins Chloe and Keaton. After they were done finding them, we counted how much money they got and it added up to about 10 dollars. Last year they got like 15. Brittany and I started complaining about our childhood. I remember whenever we would only get a dollar a piece. But there was 6 of us trying to find them then. We also brought up the point that even though we are older, we still like finding eggs. So the parents agreed to hide eggs for Brittany and me. We went upstairs in my grandmas house and discussed the situation. We guessed that they would probably put pennies in all of the eggs, and sure enough, they did. Whoever found the most eggs, got a "special egg." Well I found the most and it had 10 pennies in it. Oh Boy! Well my uncle sneakily hid 2 more eggs that had $20 in each of them, so me and Brittany got what we wanted. It was very nice of them to do that and it made for a memorable time.

Well, until we meet again, Adieu.

Surprise Easter Egg Hunt!

Yeah! Yesterday Student Activities Board surprised us with an easter egg hunt around campus. Dan and I both participated on this adventure. We got alot of candy, but I also got $30! The money was in camoflauged eggs, so they were tricky. It was a lot of fun, considering I haven't hunted eggs since I was about 14. I can't wait till Sunday! I love Easter. My family always gets together, it's usually perfect weather and of course Jesus dies for us on this day.

Well, until we meet again, Adieu.

Naill in the Wrong Place

Sunday our preacher handed us all nails to nail to a cross that he had made. Well I set mine down on the pew and went to the bathroom. When I came back I sat on the nail...I AM LOSING MY MIND!

Well, until we meet again, Adieu.
