Wednesday's Spring Fling

Yesterday Dan and I had to go to the Powhatan (Pocahontas' father) Courthouse for a field trip for our Arkansas History class. It was interesting in some spots, but mostly we were ready to leave as soon as we got there. Dan and I both like history, but our teacher is a total goober. He misspells things wrong on every PowerPoint slide during his notes and pronounces everything wrong as well. It's a Black River class, so I guess we can't have the highest hopes, but oh well.

So after we got back from the field trip Spring Fling was all about blow-ups! We had blow-up jousting, blow-up twister (which everyone ended up doing flips and bouncing on instead of twister,) blow-up stick to the wall thing (you got in a Velcro suit and stuck to the wall) and blow up obstacle course. We have such a wonderful time here at Williams.

We've also been collecting money this month for the Children's Shelter coming to Walnut Ridge. We have raised almost $1200 and counting. I will give you a full amount once we finish collecting all of the money, which is today.

OK, so I don't think I've blogged about this, but there has been a creepy man in a blue Chevy Colorado truck skulking around campus. He was spotted a couple of weeks ago by a friend of mine and he even asked her to get into the truck. Dan and I saw him last week going by the dorms really slowly, and then last night my best friend Jordan saw him and her and my friend Brian followed him to Pocahontas. We have signs posted in the girls dorm and we are all advised to use the buddy system. Dan will not let me go out alone and walks me everywhere-such a good boyfriend.

Well, until we meet again, Adieu.
